Ranges

Pistol Range

Our centerfire pistol range is suitable for all pistol calibers and rifles chambered in pistol calibers. Center-fire/high power rifles (5.56, 7.62x39, .308 etc.) and shotguns are not permitted on this range. You may also shoot .22 rifle and pistol here.

Rifle Range

Our 100 yard rifle range is located towards the back of the property and is protected on three sides by a high quarry wall. The firing positions have benches that can be moved for prone and offhand shooting. There are target boards at 25, 50 & 100 yards; we also do our best to keep steel gongs at 100 yards. Please note that we do not permit non-paper targets such as bottles, cans, jugs or anything that explodes when your projectile hits it. We also ask that you not discharge explosive devices or fireworks. This is a place to shoot, not a place to act like a thirteen-year-old.

Rimfire Range

Our rimfire range is suitable for pistols and rifles chambered in .22 S/L/LR. You may either post your own paper targets or shoot the steel items at the back of the range. Please be courteous and reset any steel that you knock down. As with our pistol range, the rimfire range has a three-sided covered firing line. Unlike the pistol range, the benches on the rimfire range can be arranged to suit a particular shooter. Please be courteous and police your brass and any trash that you bring with you.

Training Range

Our training area is located just to the right of the entrance to the rifle range. The purpose for this area is for members to both engage in formal periods of instruction and to perform defensive-carry draw and fire practice. All members are welcome to use the training area when an instructor or class is not using the range. If there is a class being held, please be courteous and don't interupt the instructor or students. While you can certainly engage them in friendly conversation, please don't pull the "I'm a member and I have a right to use this range" routine. All training that occupies the training area for a block of time is pre-approved by the club.
